A new study shows that survivors of the 1918 Spanish flu pandemic still have immune cells that remember the culprit virus.

Somehow, this doesn't seem like a great revelation. Vaccines work on the assumption that immunity is "remembered" by the dells so that they can mount a well oiled defense against infection.
